eSIM Europe Price Comparison 2026: 11 Providers, Every Plan, in Euros

eSIM Europe Price Comparison 2026 comparing 11 providers with prices from €14.95, best value per GB, Europe travel eSIM discount codes and provider comparison.
eSIM Europe Price Comparison 2026: 11 Providers in Euros
Last updated: August 2026 — Every price below was read from the provider’s own official Europe page in August 2026, including the promotional prices they currently display. Nine of the eleven providers publish euro prices, and those are shown in euros (€). Saily and Maya Mobile sell only in US dollars, so their plans are shown in dollars rather than converted — a converted figure would no longer be an official price. Prices change often; confirm at checkout.

Every eSIM guide tells you “Provider X is the cheapest” — but cheapest for what? For 3 days or 3 months? For 1GB or 50GB? For one country or forty-four?

Run an honest eSIM Europe price comparison across the whole market and the answer is that no single provider is cheapest at every size. The gaps are much bigger than the marketing suggests.

This price audit also shows why headline price alone is not enough: an unusually cheap “unlimited” plan may include a lower published full-speed allowance.

So this guide doesn’t pick a winner.

It shows you every price, side by side, in euros — eleven providers, read from their own official pages in August 2026.

Two details make this audit more useful than a basic price table: what a gigabyte actually costs at full speed once you account for each unlimited plan’s fair-use cap, and the twin-plan trap , where the same provider sells nearly identical coverage at up to 110% higher prices depending on which page you land on.

It also shows why an unlimited label cannot be judged on price alone: the fair-use threshold matters as much as the headline offer.

⚠️ Before you buy anything, check whether the provider sells a second, cheaper Europe plan that already covers your route.

Four of them do — see the twin-plan section.

Why trust these numbers: I’m Brazilian, I live in Belgium, and I track eSIM pricing for European travelers full-time — I’ve personally used Holafly (Portugal, Turkey and Thailand), Nomad (Portugal) and Airalo (Portugal). Every figure in this guide comes from a fresh audit of each provider’s own official Europe page in August 2026, not from a press release or an affiliate feed. Where a provider doesn’t publish something — Holafly’s daily speed threshold, Saily’s and Maya’s euro prices — this guide says so instead of estimating. Where a provider’s own page contradicts itself, that’s flagged too.
🔬 Methodology, so you can judge the data. A price comparison is only as good as its rules, so here are mine. Included: multi-country Europe plans, European sub-regions (Balkans, Scandinavia, EU-only), Europe-specific cruise plans, and every fixed-data, unlimited, monthly and annual option currently displayed. Excluded: single-country plans, generic global plans (with one exception — Maya Mobile, whose Europe page now sells only its global Universal eSIM), and generic cruise plans not marketed for Europe. “Was” prices are the crossed-out figures the provider itself shows. Currency: official euro pricing where it exists; official US dollars for Saily and Maya, unconverted. Cost per GB is calculated as price ÷ included data; cost per full-speed GB uses each provider’s own published fair-use allowance.

The Twin-Plan Trap: Same Provider, Up to 110% More

This eSIM Europe price comparison makes the twin-plan problem visible by placing each provider’s overlapping regional offers side by side.

Start here, because it’s worth more than any comparison table. Four of these eleven providers sell two different Europe plans — and the price difference is wildly out of proportion to the coverage difference. Land on the wrong product page and you can pay double for a country list you’ll never use. For readers researching

full-speed data performance in Europe, choosing the correct regional plan can prevent paying extra for coverage that does not improve speed on the route you actually use.

The same provider can charge up to 133% more for a similar Europe eSIM plan. Compare the exact country list before you buy.

⚠️ How to not fall into it — a 30-second check before you pay. Open the cheaper plan’s country list and look for your actual destinations. The rule of thumb from these four cases: the extra money buys non-EU Europe. Airalo’s Eurolink adds the Balkans, Turkey, Iceland and Kosovo over EU+UK. Nomad’s Europe 36 swaps in Turkey, Northern Cyprus and the Canary Islands while dropping Gibraltar and San Marino — it is not the 35-plan plus one. Ubigi’s Extended adds 16 destinations beyond its standard 39. Breeze’s EU+ adds a single country over Europe Lite and charges up to 110% more for it. If your route is Paris–Rome–Barcelona, the cheap plan covers you and the expensive one is pure margin.

Nomad Europe eSIM price and setup video

Nomad is one of the strongest fixed-data options in this comparison, especially for travelers who want 20GB or 50GB without paying for unlimited data they may never use. The video below shows how the Nomad eSIM works, what the purchase flow looks like and what to check before choosing a Europe plan.

After watching, compare the exact country list and current checkout price with the tables above. Nomad often runs temporary discounts, so the live offer can be better or worse than the price recorded during this August 2026 audit.

Airalo Europe plans and activation video

Airalo also appears in the twin-plan comparison because its EU+UK and Eurolink products cover different country groups at different prices. This video shows the purchase and activation process, while the table above explains which regional plan is likely to fit a standard European itinerary.

Use the video for the practical setup steps, then return to the country lists before checkout. The cheaper EU+UK plan can be enough for a conventional EU route, while Eurolink is relevant when the trip includes destinations outside that smaller region.

Cheapest 10GB for 30 Days: The Benchmark Plan

For a clean benchmark, this eSIM Europe price comparison uses 10GB over 30 days because the allowance is widely available and easy to compare across providers.

Ten gigabytes over a month is the most common purchase for a European trip, so it’s the fairest single benchmark across providers. Here is every one, cheapest first. This benchmark is useful when comparing full-speed data performance in Europe complaints, since fixed 10GB plans make the full-speed allowance easier to understand.

Reading the table: the spread is remarkable — €14.95 to €35 for the same 10 gigabytes, a 134% difference.

GigSky’s 49 destinations and Jetpac’s 43 cost barely more than plans covering 33–35 countries, making them strong value picks for routes outside the EU.

Rows 8 and 10 show the twin-plan trap in action.

Holafly, SimOptions and Maya don’t appear here because none of them sells a 10GB/30-day Europe plan — Holafly and Maya sell unlimited by duration, and SimOptions’ smallest comparable is 15GB. Working out how much data you actually need? See How Much Data Do You Need for Europe?

Breeze Europe Lite video: understand the lowest 10GB price

Breeze leads the 10GB benchmark at €14.95, but it also sells more than one Europe product. This video is most useful after reading the twin-plan table because it gives practical context for the provider while the price comparison shows why Europe Lite can cost much less than EU+.

Before purchasing, match the country list to the exact Breeze plan shown at checkout. The lowest headline price only helps when the cheaper region includes every destination on your route.

Ubigi Europe video: standard Europe versus Extended

Ubigi is only five cents behind Breeze in the 10GB table and covers more countries on its standard Europe plan. The video below gives a practical look at Ubigi, while the comparison above explains why the standard 39-country plan can be a better buy than Europe Extended.

Ubigi is especially relevant for travelers comparing ordinary Europe coverage, Scandinavian sub-regional plans and longer annual options. Check validity and country coverage rather than assuming the largest region is automatically the best value.

Yesim Europe video: low entry prices and unlimited options

Yesim combines some of the lowest fixed-data prices in this audit with a €3 one-day unlimited option. This video adds product context, but the tables remain the place to compare its promotional prices, regular prices and trip-length options side by side.

Some Yesim prices are introductory or heavily discounted, so confirm the live checkout total. For small and medium data packages, it remains one of the strongest price references in the article.

Best Value: Cost Per Gigabyte on Fixed-Data Plans

A useful eSIM Europe price comparison should look beyond the checkout total and calculate what each full-speed gigabyte actually costs.

Total price tells you what you’ll pay; cost per gigabyte tells you whether you’re overpaying. Here are the strongest per-GB plans in the audit.

The pattern is consistent: the bigger the package, the cheaper each gigabyte gets — roughly halving between 10GB and 100GB.

Cost per GB also gives useful context for full-speed data performance in Europe. A low price is only valuable while the purchased data remains available at normal network speed.

💰 The single best-value plan in this entire audit isn’t from a travel eSIM brand at all. SimOptions resells operator eSIMs, and Bouygues Telecom’s My European 120GB at €45.90 works out at €0.38 per gigabyte — 5G, 44 countries, and it includes a European phone number with calls and SMS. For comparison, Airalo’s Eurolink 50GB costs €63.50 for less than half the data. The catch is that 120GB in 30 days is far more than most travelers use, so it only wins if you’re tethering heavily or staying a full month. For a normal two-week trip, Nomad’s 50GB at €30.60 (€0.61/GB) is the better-shaped deal — see the Cheapest eSIM for Europe breakdown for the small-plan end.

SimOptions video: operator eSIMs with calls, SMS and a number

SimOptions is different from most providers in this comparison because it resells operator plans from brands such as Bouygues, Orange and O2. The video below helps explain the buying experience, while the table above shows why the 120GB Bouygues option produces the lowest fixed-data cost per gigabyte in the audit.

This is the section to study when calls, SMS or a European phone number matter. Check the individual operator plan carefully because coverage, validity and included voice allowances vary between the cards sold on the same marketplace.

Unlimited Plans: Every Price by Trip Length

In the unlimited section, the eSIM Europe price comparison changes with trip length because daily pricing and fair-use limits affect the real value.

Unlimited is priced by days, not gigabytes, so the comparison works differently. Here is every euro-priced unlimited Europe plan in the audit, by duration — cheapest highlighted. The biggest pricing clue behind full-speed data performance in Europe is often the provider’s fair-use policy rather than the mobile network itself.

Saily (USD)$49.99$71.99
Maya Mobile (USD)$9.99$19.99$27.99 (14d)$49.99

Reading the table: Breeze Europe Lite is the cheapest euro-priced unlimited plan at four of the six durations, while Yesim wins the single-day category at €3.

Price alone is misleading here, which is why the next section compares published full-speed allowances.

Maya Mobile’s $49.99 price for 30 days undercuts every euro plan at that duration and covers 165+ countries rather than one European region.

For the editorial ranking rather than raw price, see Best Unlimited Data eSIM for Europe .

The Real Number: Cost Per Full-Speed Gigabyte

This eSIM Europe price comparison separates advertised unlimited data from the published amount delivered at full speed.

Here’s what no price database will tell you. Every “unlimited” plan has a fair-use ceiling, and after it your speed drops to roughly 1–2 Mbps — enough for maps and messaging, useless for uploads or video calls. So the honest way to price unlimited is

what you pay per gigabyte of genuinely fast data, using each provider’s own published allowance. This metric is especially useful for understanding full-speed data performance in Europe after a daily or total full-speed allowance has been consumed.

Holafly Europe 30 days€68.90No fixed number publishedNot disclosedCan’t be calculated
Maya Mobile 30 days (USD)$49.99Page markets no cap, no throttlingNot disclosedCan’t be calculated
⚠️ Three things this table changes. (1) Nomad’s unlimited plans are the worst value in the audit — at roughly 2GB/day before throttling to about 512kbps, its 5-day plan delivers around 10GB of fast data for €16.61. Nomad’s fixed plans are excellent (50GB at €0.61/GB); its unlimited plans are not the way to buy it.

(2) Breeze publishes two different unlimited structures — “day plans” with 1GB of high-speed data per 24 hours, and “Premium Unlimited” with 30GB/5 days, 60GB/10 days and 90GB/15 days — and its page doesn’t clearly map every price to a structure, so confirm which one you’re buying. That’s also why its €0.40/GB sits at the top with an asterisk.

(3) Holafly and Maya can’t be scored — and that’s not a criticism. Holafly publishes no fixed threshold and says reductions are temporary; Maya’s page markets no cap at all. For heavy users, an undisclosed ceiling you never hit beats a disclosed one you do. If your speed ever drops mid-trip, eSIM speed troubleshooting in Europe: 8 fixes explains what to check.

Saily Europe unlimited video: daily high-speed allowance

Saily’s unlimited pricing is shown in US dollars, and its published fair-use structure is central to comparing it honestly with euro-priced plans. This video gives a practical provider overview; the table above supplies the key pricing context of 3GB per day at high speed before reduced speeds.

Because Saily does not publish official euro prices, keep the dollar amount unchanged when comparing checkout totals. Also consider any foreign-transaction charge applied by your card issuer.

GigSky Europe video: free trial and 3.5GB per day

GigSky stands out for its free 500MB trial, wide country coverage and a published 3.5GB daily high-speed allowance on unlimited plans. The video below is useful for understanding the service, while the tables show how its fixed-data and unlimited prices compare with the rest of the market.

GigSky can make sense when route breadth matters or when you want to test an eSIM before paying. Its maritime Cruise + Land product is separate and should not be compared directly with ordinary land-based Europe plans.

Jetpac Europe video: wide coverage and hotspot use

Jetpac covers 43 European destinations in the 10GB comparison and publishes a 3GB high-speed allowance every 24 hours on unlimited plans. This video adds setup and product context for travelers considering Jetpac for a multi-country route.

Jetpac is strongest when you value broad regional coverage, full hotspot use and clearly published fair-use terms. Compare its current sale price with Nomad and GigSky before making the final choice.

Holafly Europe unlimited eSIM video

Holafly is built for travelers who prefer unlimited data and do not want to monitor every gigabyte during the trip. This video explains the Holafly experience, including installation, activation and the practical differences between an unlimited plan and a cheaper fixed-data package.

Holafly does not publish a fixed daily high-speed allowance for this Europe plan, so the price comparison cannot calculate an exact cost per full-speed gigabyte. Its main advantage is simplicity, while the main points to check are hotspot limits, fair-use language and the final number of travel days.

Cheapest Option by Trip Length

No tables, no conditions — just the cheapest euro-priced option for each trip type, with the runner-up. Travelers trying to avoid full-speed data performance in Europe should compare the full-speed allowance for the entire trip, not only the advertised daily price.

🧮 The pattern worth internalising: for anything under about 20GB, the cheap-and-cheerful providers (Breeze Europe Lite, Ubigi, Yesim) win on price almost every time. From 40GB upward, the value flips to Nomad’s sale pricing and SimOptions’ operator plans. And unlimited only makes financial sense if you’d genuinely burn more than about 2GB a day — otherwise you’re paying a convenience premium of €20–€40 for data you won’t touch. For the “should I buy unlimited at all?” question, see Best eSIM for 30 Days in Europe.

The Sub-Regional Plans Almost Nobody Compares

The eSIM Europe price comparison also includes sub-regional plans, since a narrower map can be substantially cheaper than a standard Europe package.

Every comparison stops at “Europe.” But six of these providers sell narrower regional plans that are often dramatically cheaper for the right itinerary.

In one case, the narrower option is dramatically more expensive for a reason worth understanding.

Sub-regional plans can affect full-speed data performance in Europe when they use a more suitable partner network for a narrower itinerary.

Europe sub-regional eSIM plans comparison 2026 showing Balkans, Scandinavia, cruise and island plans from Yesim, Ubigi, Nomad, Breeze, Holafly and GigSky.
Sub-regional Europe eSIM plans can cost less than standard Europe plans when your itinerary is limited to the Balkans, Scandinavia, cruises, or islands.

Balkans: four providers, four different maps

ProviderCountries10GB / 30 daysUnlimited 7 days
Yesim Balkans11€21.00€30.00
Nomad Balkans12 (widest)€34.10
Breeze Balkans10€54.95€29.95
Holafly Balkans5 (narrowest)(unlimited only)€33.90

The spread is brutal: €21 to €54.95 for the same 10GB. Yesim covers eleven countries for less than half what Breeze charges for ten.

Check the map before buying. Holafly’s Balkans plan covers five countries against Nomad’s twelve, so they are not comparable products.

Airalo’s Eurolink and Jetpac’s 43-country plan already include Balkan destinations, which can make a dedicated regional plan unnecessary.

Scandinavia: the quiet bargain

Ubigi’s Scandinavia & Baltic plan covers 8 countries and sells 10GB for €12. That is cheaper than every pan-European 10GB plan in this guide, including Ubigi Europe at €15 and Breeze Europe Lite at €14.95.

Its 50GB plan is €39, while 3GB for 15 days costs €6.

For Copenhagen–Stockholm–Oslo–Helsinki, it is the cheapest correct answer in the audit.

Holafly also sells a Scandinavia unlimited plan (5 countries) — priced identically to its 33-country Europe plan at €5.90/day, €25.50/week and €68.90/month, which means there’s no reason to choose it over the wider Europe plan unless you specifically want it.

Cruise plans: why one costs 10× the other

🚢 This is the most misunderstood price in European eSIM. Holafly’s Europe Cruise and Mediterranean Cruise plans look like a bargain — unlimited from €3.79 a day, €23.90 for a week. GigSky’s Europe Cruise + Land charges €28.99 for 1GB over seven days, and €161.02 for 10GB. That’s not a rip-off: they’re different products. Holafly’s cruise eSIMs run on land-based mobile networks — the company states they work in ports, on land and potentially near the coast, with no guaranteed connectivity at sea. GigSky’s Cruise + Land pricing reflects maritime coverage while you’re actually sailing. So: data only when you’re docked → Holafly’s price is right. Data mid-ocean → the higher price is what maritime access costs. Buying the cheap one expecting signal on open water is the single most expensive mistake in this category.

Two more worth knowing

Isle of Man & Channel Islands: Ubigi is the only provider here with a dedicated plan — 1GB/7d €4, 10GB/30d €16, unlimited 7d €25. These islands fall outside many “Europe” plans entirely, so if your trip includes them, check your plan’s list rather than assuming.

Eastern Europe: Holafly sells a three-country plan (Belarus, Moldova, Russia) from €13.90/day — the only product in this audit covering those destinations, and priced at roughly 3.7× its standard Europe day rate.

Teaser Prices and Other Things the Tables Don’t Show

Headline prices are the most-copied numbers in this industry and some of the least reliable. Here’s what to check before treating any figure — including mine — as gospel.

Some “cheapest ever” prices are first-purchase only. Yesim’s 500MB at €0.45 is a first-time offer, not standard pricing, and GigSky’s 500MB Europe plan is a free trial. Both are real and both are excellent ways to test an eSIM before you commit — just don’t build a budget around them for your second trip.

Sale prices are everywhere right now, and they move. Providers are discounting heavily in August 2026.

Nomad’s 50GB is €30.60 against a regular €41.97, while its 20GB is €23.61 against €32.35. Jetpac’s 30GB is €28.50 and its 40GB is €33.50.

Yesim’s 30GB is €25 against a listed €66, and its Balkans 30-day unlimited plan is €68 against €210. These prices are genuine while they last, but a comparison table can become outdated quickly.

Always click through and read the checkout price.

Subscriptions sit next to one-time plans. Nomad’s Pass is €2.62 every 30 days and auto-renews, including 1GB and 15% off add-ons.

Ubigi sells monthly plans from €7 and annual prepaid plans from €24. Holafly’s global monthly subscription is a separate product from its day plans.

None is a trap by itself, but check the label if you want a one-time purchase. Full breakdown: Best Prepaid eSIM for Europe.

Hotspot rules differ more than prices do. Jetpac states unlimited hotspot, while Breeze, Ubigi, Nomad and Maya include tethering.

Holafly limits sharing to about 1GB a day on its prepaid plans. Yesim notes that hotspot availability can depend on the underlying operator.

If you are tethering a laptop daily, that single line matters more than a €5 price difference.

Two providers do not publish euro prices at all. Saily and Maya Mobile display and charge in US dollars.

Their figures are left unconverted because an exchange-rate estimate is not an official price, and your card’s rate may differ.

A foreign-transaction fee may also apply. Judge them on the published dollar amounts, not on an invented euro conversion.

Providers contradict themselves sometimes. Breeze’s product card says 35 countries for EU+, while a marketing paragraph on the same page says 34. The destination list appears to contain 35.

SimOptions’ O2 10GB card displays a struck-through comparison value of €0.00, evidently a page placeholder. Its actual selling price is €21.90.

These small inconsistencies are why the checkout page should take priority over any comparison table, including this one.

Nobody charges an activation fee. Unlike a physical SIM card, every eSIM here is free to activate — no store visit, no ID registration, no activation charge beyond the plan price. That’s built into the eSIM standard itself. See eSIM vs Physical SIM for Europe for what that’s worth against a local SIM.

Beyond Europe: How These Prices Compare Globally

Two providers have restructured around global rather than regional plans, which changes the calculation when a trip continues beyond Europe.

Maya Mobile’s Europe page now sells only its Universal eSIM: unlimited coverage across 165+ countries and 20+ cruise lines, from $9.99 for three days to $49.99 for 30 days.

Hotspot use is included and, according to the current product page, there is no data cap.

At 30 days, that undercuts every euro-priced unlimited Europe plan in this audit while covering the whole world.

Holafly’s global prepaid plans cover 142 destinations, while its monthly subscriptions cover 160+.

The trade-off is simple: a regional plan is cheaper if you remain in Europe, while a global plan becomes more useful when the itinerary crosses continents.

For the full worldwide picture, see Best eSIM for International Travel 2026 , and for the head-to-head, Holafly vs Nomad . The best-value choice also depends on whether your priority is maximizing full-speed data, adding calls and SMS, or extending validity.

Maya Mobile Universal eSIM video: Europe inside a global plan

Maya Mobile belongs in this global section because its current Europe page points travelers toward the Universal eSIM rather than a conventional Europe-only package. The video below provides product context for that model and helps explain why its pricing should be compared with other global unlimited products.

Maya publishes prices in US dollars and markets the plan without a stated data cap. Travelers staying only in Europe should still compare it with regional plans, while multi-continent itineraries may benefit from the broader coverage.

FAQ — eSIM Prices for Europe

How much does an eSIM for Europe cost?
Europe travel eSIMs range from about €2 to €70 depending on data and trip length. Entry: Ubigi 500MB €2, Yesim 1GB/30d €2.20, GigSky a free 500MB trial. Mid-range: 10GB/30d costs €14.95 (Breeze Europe Lite), €15 (Ubigi), €16 (Yesim), €20.11 (Nomad). Large: Nomad 50GB €30.60 on sale, SimOptions 120GB €45.90. Unlimited runs from €3 for one day (Yesim) to €52.50–€70.95 for 30 days. Verified August 2026.
Which eSIM has the cheapest data plans for Europe?
It depends on the size — no provider wins at every tier. Cheapest paid entry: Yesim 1GB/30d €2.20 and Ubigi 500MB €2. For 10GB/30d: Breeze Europe Lite €14.95, Ubigi €15, Yesim €16. For 20GB: Yesim €20, Nomad €23.61. For 50GB: Nomad €30.60 on sale, Breeze Europe Lite €38.95, Airalo EU+UK €44.50. Largest package: SimOptions’ Bouygues 120GB at €45.90. Verified August 2026.
What is the best value Europe eSIM per gigabyte?
On fixed data: SimOptions’ My European 120GB from Bouygues Telecom at €45.90 is €0.38/GB and includes calls, SMS and a European number across 44 countries. Breeze Europe Lite’s 100GB at €52.95 is €0.53/GB. Orange’s Holiday Europe 100GB at €55.90 is €0.56/GB with calls. Nomad’s 50GB at €30.60 is €0.61/GB — the best value at a mid-size volume. Below 20GB, per-gigabyte cost roughly doubles for every provider. Verified August 2026.
What is the cheapest unlimited eSIM for Europe?
By trip length, in euros: 1 day — Yesim €3, GigSky €3.49, Holafly €3.79. 3 days — Breeze Europe Lite €8.95, Airalo EU+UK €9.50. 5 days — Airalo EU+UK €15, Breeze Lite €15.95, Nomad €16.61. 7 days — Breeze Lite €18.95, Yesim €21, Ubigi €23. 15 days — Breeze Lite €31.95, Yesim €33. 30 days — Airalo EU+UK €52.50, Breeze Lite €52.95, Yesim €56. Saily and Maya sell in USD only, at $71.99 and $49.99 for 30 days. Verified August 2026.
Do unlimited eSIM plans really give unlimited data?
Most publish a high-speed ceiling and slow down after it. Published Europe caps: Jetpac 3GB every 24h then up to 1 Mbps; Saily 3GB/day then up to 1 Mbps; GigSky 3.5GB/day; Ubigi 60GB on its 30-day plan then 2 Mbps; Breeze both day plans at 1GB/24h and Premium Unlimited at 30GB/5d, 60GB/10d, 90GB/15d. Holafly publishes no fixed number, saying reductions are temporary; Maya Mobile’s page markets no cap and no throttling. That’s why this guide also prices cost per full-speed gigabyte. Verified August 2026.
Why do two plans from the same provider cost so differently?
Because most sell more than one Europe plan, and the price gap far exceeds the coverage gap. Breeze’s EU+ covers 35 countries and Europe Lite 34, yet 50GB costs €81.95 versus €38.95 — 110% more for one country. Ubigi’s Europe Extended (55) charges €35 for 10GB against €15 on standard Europe (39). Nomad’s Europe 36 charges €39.35 for 20GB against €23.61 on Europe 35. Airalo’s Eurolink (42) charges €63.50 for 50GB against €44.50 on EU+UK (28). Check whether the cheaper plan already covers your route. Verified August 2026.
Are the advertised cheapest eSIM prices real?
Some are first-purchase offers rather than standard pricing. Yesim’s 500MB at €0.45 is a first-time offer and GigSky’s 500MB Europe plan is a free trial. Many providers also show steep sale prices against a higher regular price — Nomad’s 50GB at €30.60 versus €41.97, Jetpac’s 30GB at €28.50, Yesim’s 30GB at €25 versus €66. All genuine while they last, but not a stable baseline: confirm the live price at checkout rather than trusting any table. Verified August 2026.
Which Europe eSIM includes a phone number with calls and SMS?
Almost all travel eSIMs are data-only. The exceptions are the operator eSIMs sold through SimOptions: O2’s Go Card at €21.90 for 10GB across 38 countries, Bouygues Telecom’s Travel Basic+ at €21.90 for 20GB across 44, Orange’s Holiday Zen at €28.90 for 20GB across 40, Bouygues’ My European range from €32.90 (30GB) to €45.90 (120GB), and Orange’s Holiday Europe at €49.90 for 50GB or €55.90 for 100GB. All include a European number with calls and SMS. Verified August 2026.
Is there an eSIM for a European cruise?
Yes, but the two cruise products work very differently. Holafly’s Europe Cruise and Mediterranean Cruise unlimited plans start at €3.79/day and run on land-based mobile networks — they work in ports, on land and potentially near the coast, with no guaranteed connectivity at sea. GigSky’s Europe Cruise + Land is priced for maritime coverage: €28.99 for 1GB over seven days, €161.02 for 10GB over 30, with Essential unlimited from €6.99/day. Data only in port means the cheaper land plan; data while sailing is what the higher price buys. Verified August 2026.
Are all these prices in euros?
Nine of the eleven providers publish official euro prices, and those are the figures used here. Saily and Maya Mobile display and charge in US dollars only, so their plans appear in dollars rather than converted — a converted figure would no longer be an official price. Saily’s Europe plans run $4.99 (1GB) to $71.99 (30-day unlimited); Maya’s Universal eSIM runs $9.99 (3 days) to $49.99 (30 days). Your card issuer applies its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. Verified August 2026.
Do eSIM prices for Europe change often?
Yes, frequently. Nomad and Jetpac run rotating sales — Nomad’s 20GB and 50GB currently show €23.61 and €30.60 against €32.35 and €41.97; Jetpac’s 30GB and 40GB are €28.50 and €33.50. Yesim’s discounts are steeper still against its listed prices. Airalo and Ubigi restructure their catalogues periodically, and Maya Mobile has replaced its fixed-data Europe packages with a single unlimited Universal plan. This audit is re-run monthly — always confirm at checkout. Verified August 2026.

Summary: What This Audit Shows

No single provider wins at every price point — that’s the honest headline, and it’s why this guide is a table rather than a ranking. But five patterns hold across the whole audit:

🏁 The August 2026 picture

🪙 Small plans → Breeze Europe Lite, Ubigi and Yesim own everything under 20GB. 10GB from €14.95. 💰 Big plans → Nomad and SimOptions. Nomad 50GB €30.60 (€0.61/GB); Bouygues 120GB €45.90 (€0.38/GB, with a number). ♾️ Unlimited → check the cap, not the price.

GigSky gives 3.5GB per day, Jetpac and Airalo give 3GB per day, and Nomad gives only about 2GB per day. Holafly and Maya publish no fixed ceiling.

🗺️ Sub-regional beats regional when the map fits: Ubigi Scandinavia offers 10GB for €12, while Yesim Balkans offers 10GB for €21.

⚠️ The twin-plan trap creates the biggest single saving here: up to €55 on one purchase for coverage you were not going to use.

This article contains affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It does not change the numbers: this guide ranks by price, and several of the cheapest plans listed here earn me nothing.

All figures were read from each provider’s official Europe pages in August 2026, including the promotional prices they display. “Was” prices are the crossed-out figures shown by the provider.

Prices are shown in euros where official euro pricing exists. Saily and Maya Mobile publish US dollar prices only and have been left unconverted, because a converted figure would no longer be official.

Cost per gigabyte is price divided by included data. Cost per full-speed gigabyte uses each provider’s published fair-use allowance and is an arithmetic comparison, not a speed test.

Coverage counts, fair-use policies and validity differ between plans and are noted where relevant. Prices and terms change frequently and without notice, so always confirm at checkout.

I have personally used Holafly in Portugal, Turkey and Thailand, Nomad in Portugal, and Airalo in Portugal. The remaining providers are assessed from their official documentation and published pricing.
